Michigan’s cannabis industry has achieved unprecedented success in June, with record-breaking sales reaching an astounding $261 million, according to data released by the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA). Similarly, the average cost of an ounce of medical marijuana last month was approximately $100. These affordable prices have likely played a role in attracting a larger consumer base.

In a significant move to support research into the therapeutic benefits of marijuana for military veterans, Michigan regulators announced last year that they would be awarding $20 million in grants through the Veteran Marijuana Research (VMR) Grant Program.
